Founded by two-time Sunday Business Post Ireland Sommelier of the Year and Global Group Sommelier of The Doyle Collection hotel group, Philip Dunne, Vinspire Academy provides Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) courses in wine and spirits that are tailored to the needs of the Irish Hospitality Industry. Since starting Vinspire Academy in 2022, Philip has trained several hundred hospitality and drinks professionals to achieve WSET qualifications with a pass rate of 98%.
Through our partnership, Vinspire Academy becomes the lead provider of WSET wine education for Liberty Wines Ireland. This expands the training opportunities for our customers beyond the Liberty Wines Academy run by our own Education team to encompass WSET qualifications. We know that better educated staff have greater confidence and motivation which naturally leads to improved sales for our customers and, as a result, are delighted to partner with Vinspire Academy to better support our customers and their staff.
