`Best ever` tasting showcases new additions to the Liberty portfolio
5th March, 2013
Our annual portfolio took place at Fallon and Byrne with over 250 wines on show and a record number of attendees, which created quite a buzz in the room and via Twitter. The tables were laid out by country and the wines poured by the 30 producers, including Kevin Judd of Greywacke, Emma Cullen, Miriam Caporali of Valdipiatta, Alexandra Curatolo of Curatolo Arini, Jean-Christophe Perraud and Michela Contero, who came to meet and greet customers and press.
Alongside new vintages of old favourites, we showcased a number of new additions to the portfolio, including the renowned Valdespino sherries, the new and exciting Dawson & James wines from Tasmania, and the entry level offerings from Ca’ di Alte in the Veneto. Ever strengthening our French portfolio, we also had several new wines from Francois et Fils, Domaine du Chene, Maison Nicolas Perrin, all in the Rhone, and JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset from Burgundy.
Our thanks go to Fallon and Byrne for the excellent organisation and lovely lunch, everyone who came along on the day, and our Twitter followers.
