Jane Eyre receives ‘Négociant of the Year’ accolade

Congratulations to Jane Eyre who has been named ‘Négociant of the Year’ in the 2021 Grands Prix de La Revue du vin de France, an annual review recognising those “that have marked the world of wine in France”. Jane was honoured for her ability to work closely with growers and her signature style of scented, scrupulously clean wines that express a true sense of place. This is a phenomenal achievement for a relative newcomer to the region, having first settled in Burgundy in 2004.⠀

This award follows the release of the 2021 edition of Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France, where Jane Eyre was awarded two stars, joining only 26 producers in the whole of France to be recognised at this level. Otherwise known as the ‘Guide Vert’ or Green Guide, to the best French wines, the 26th edition of the book features 5,500 wines from 1,150 estates. Jane is also the only Australian producer to receive two or more stars for their wines.⠀
