Apprentice Scheme
The Liberty Wines Apprentice scheme is a diverse and challenging two-year programme, which comprises working across, and within, all aspects of one of the business. Since its launch in 2007, we have seen a phenomenal response to the scheme and some outstanding candidates.
Unique in the industry, our programme offers a detailed yet wide-ranging experience of many departments within the organisation, as well as sponsoring the WSET Diploma Level 4 and funding two vintages in the northern and southern hemispheres.
The ideal candidate will have some knowledge and experience of the wine trade, received a WSET Level 2 qualification (preferably Level 3, or in the process of studying), and be able to demonstrate the potential to become a thriving salesperson.
Applications for the 2024-26 Liberty Wines Apprentice Scheme are now open. Click here to apply.
The Programme
The programme runs for two years, during which time the candidate will study for WSET Diploma by block release, sponsored by Liberty Wines.
The apprenticeship includes placements within customer services and brand management, events, communications and sales, as well as credit control, shipping, and distribution. There is a month in Europe helping with a vintage during the first year and two months’ vintage in the southern hemisphere during the second year, followed by an exciting project which brings the apprenticeship to a close.
